At this time, you may recite the following three groups of blessings to awaken your沉睡 body and mind, welcoming a day filled with hope.
1. “May all sentient beings, from delusion enter enlightenment, suddenly and completely.” (The following Taoist verses may be recited once or three times)
This blessing embodies the core Taoist principle of pursuing enlightenment and transcending confusion. Taoism holds that people in this world are often obscured by various desires and perplexities. Quietly listen to divine commands, also observe inauspicious signs. Evil demons depart swiftly, may body and life be healthy and peaceful. Quickly, quickly, as by decree!”
