Wuji Xuanji (无极·玄机) Brass Openwork Ring
Wuji Xuanji (无极·玄机) is a bold openwork brass ring inspired by the Taoist interplay of emptiness and form. Its broad silhouette and interlocking hollow structure turn the contrast between xu (虚, emptiness) and shi (实, form) into a wearable expression of balance.
The ring is handcrafted from brass with an antiqued matte finish, giving it a restrained, time-worn character rather than a bright polished shine. Rounded lines overlap across the wide band, creating a strong visual presence while keeping the design open and breathable.
An adjustable open-band construction fits approximately ring circumferences 1.88–2.36 in (4.77–5.99 cm), making it suitable for different fingers and a wide range of wearers. In Taoist-inspired and Chinese folk symbolism, brass is often associated with protection and warding off harmful influences; here, the substantial band also serves as a personal reminder of discipline, steadiness, and guarding one’s inner intention.
With regular wear and handling, brass naturally oxidizes and gradually develops a unique, warmer patina. This evolving surface records the wearer’s touch over time, giving each ring an increasingly individual character. Avoid frequent large bends of the adjustable opening, and those with metal sensitivities should wear with care.
